Meta Medicine UK – (Mind – Body Medicine.) ‘The Matter is of the Mind.’
This document is to bring awareness to some ideas and operating principles which have started to emerge with time as Meta-Medicine model has been tested. It also includes other ideas which I hope will stimulate thought in you. It will also hopefully give an understanding of what to expect, how we work, and why we do what we do in the consultancy.
There is the implicate & explicate when thinking of reality. The explicate is everything material & perceived on the outside. The implicate is our inner world. Some scientists are finally trying to incorporate consciousness in their models of reality but the only way to truly explore consciousness is from the inside. Quantum physicists now see consciousness as primary.
The shamanic traditions used to emphasise these realms of consciousness in their folklore & venerate these states. Here in the West a witch hunt was begun & still operates (albeit attitudes are changing) with stiff penalties for those who sell certain drugs. Big Pharma sells drugs with very unacceptable risks & yet is allowed to persist. Essentially the law implies that people do not have sovereignty over their own consciousness, a fundamental attack on the most basic of human rights, just like women were burnt in days gone past for their beliefs.
Meta-Medicine gives us the beginning of a framework for navigating the psyche when it concerns sickness which in the overwhelming majority of cases starts in the psyche & therefore has to end in the psyche….
Cyberkinetics (advanced kinesiology) allowed the development of Meta-Medicine in that at long last we had an epistemological tool for helping a person explore themselves and for allowing the facilitator to eliminate the ambiguity. This tool bought a spiritual dimension to the enquiry. It highlighted the influence of epigenetic factors in the manifestation of disease processes.
Key Concepts
The symptom is not the cause
Consciousness is more primary than DNA and programs DNA
Cause & effect form a loop so that the effect can feed back into the cause.
We are more than just our body. The Out of Body experience is well documented
Just because science can’t measure something does not mean it is invalid.
The universe accommodates our reality. ‘As a man thinketh so he is.’ Attraction / Manifestation.
There is more to reality than the 5 senses. (Radiowaves / infrared etc)
The soul codes experience & the vibration of that information is carried over into new lives.
The Higher frames of thought modulate the lower.
Behind every illness (except poisoning & physical trauma) is caused by an inner conflict.
We are all responsible for our own health not the Dr.
THE 5 BIOLOGICAL LAWS OF NATURE
Meta-medicine is a science – demonstrable, quantifiable, verifiable & falsifiable, which after 10’s of 1000’s of cases worldwide and various verification procedures in certain countries has proven beyond doubt the accuracy of the system. Quite simply deep unhappiness can and does cause disease hence the use of this framework. Not many models are scientifically based.
Meta-medicine is like a blueprint for understanding how psychology, linguistics, neurology and biology interface. The effect of this understanding is that a particular enquiry is developed to make explicit the dysfunctional behavioural patterns so that they become open to transformation. Different organs have different linguistic markers which you wouldn’t pay attention to unless you were using this system.
- The Iron Rule of Cancer. Every disease starts with a dramatic isolating emotional shock. It actually applies to every disease
- The Law of the two phases of diseases inasmuch as there is a resolution of conflict.
- The Ontogenetic System of Tumors and Cancer-equivalent diseases. The Third Biological Law explains the correlation between the psyche, the brain, and the organ within the context of the embryonic (ontogenetic) and evolutionary (phylogenetic) development of the human organism
- The Ontogenetic System of Microbes. The biological function of the microbes was to maintain the organs and tissues and keep them in a healthy state. Throughout the ages, microbes, such as bacteria and fungi, have been indispensable for our survival.
- The quintessence. All diseases are meaningful natural events.
The two laws to consider are the 1st and the 5th. The 1st law states that every disease is triggered by a dramatic isolating emotional shock which via the brain expresses itself as pathology. (Actually we now acknowledge that a drip feed of negative thinking can cause disease.)
The 5th law recognizes that Mother Nature never makes mistakes, she is goal orientated. Every illness is a specially designed survival strategy activated by extraordinary circumstances. To illustrate this an example is given.
The deer loses its territory to a young stag. There is a consequent ulcer in the coronary artery. Essentially the blood vessel is wider therefore allowing more blood and therefore nutrients and oxygen to the heart. This gives the deer a second fighting chance to reclaim the territory.
META-Medicine scientifically maps organ symptoms (from breast cancer to the cold), via the mind and brain to their primal cause to aid the natural healing process.
META- Medicine provides meaningful answers to seemingly unanswerable questions such as why and for what purpose do symptoms occur when they do?
The Importance of this Model?
Being based on scientific fact – that is that it is reproducible, demonstrable, quantifiable and therefore open to being disproved, to ignore it would be foolish. This allows a person to identify the root cause of their health issue and thereby reduces fear and empowers them. People are encouraged to engage in cultivating new awareness and assuming full responsibility for their patterns of being / doing.
Inner conflict – Psychic Knots
Personal development and health are linked and now we have a scientific model, an organizing framework to navigate something as complex as the psyche. When an experience threatens your development or survival Mother Nature has created a specialized response system. We say a biological program has switched on i.e. there is an inner conflict operating. Fundamentally a conflict is an opposition of tendencies with a net loss of energy.
A Note on Current Practice
We also recognise that if these problems were easy to deal with the Dr would have the answer. Big Pharma has billions of research funds and other than exciting developments with stem cells and genetics their progress with the big killers particularly cancer is remarkable in that they consistently use the same approach regardless of the constant failure, the only discernable difference with time seems to be the price tag for the taxpayer goes up.
More worrying is the fear / panic and helplessness created for patients. Below is an example from Dr Hamer of the fear that can be induced by a diagnosis and prognosis. Many patients report feeling devastated when hearing the diagnosis. Now with acute problems modern medicine is great and many of us would not be here if it were not for penicillin, an emergency appendicitis / meningitis intervention etc. I would rather that a pill would solve all the ills but that isn’t how it works….
Example from Dr. Hamer
A mother’s child gets extremely sick and she suffers a biological conflict for this. After 3 months the child recovers. The mother however is found to have a 1.5cm mammary gland carcinoma in the left breast. She is told the whole breast has to be amputated as the cancer might spread to surrounding area or swim to distant parts of the body. Chemo should be administered immediately to kill the cells
Confronted with the frightening diagnosis, the surgical implications and the prognosis she suffers the following
- A disfigurement conflict: melanoma in the surgical scar of her previous left breast
- Self devaluation: rib osteolysis in area of amputated breast (I am useless there as won’t be productive there)
- An attack conflict against the left breast area to be operated: a pleura mesothelioma of left pleura
- A death fright conflict: pulmonary adeno carcinoma.
Whereas she started with one problem, because of a total lack of understanding between the psyche and biology her situation became more complicated due to the shock and panic. Metastasis is an unproven hypothesis. An organ will only express a disease process if the person has experienced the associated conflict and the Dr’s are causing many of these problems unbeknownst to them.
Yet no one questions the ontology (core assumptions) or epistemology (how you know what you know). If they did they would notice that there is no science. A science should be verifiable or falsifiable but as they operate from a place of no facts there is nothing to verify as it is all hypothesis. There has never been a study done on why people who take no medication go into remission yet many do all the time.
Dr’s are obviously trying to do their best. All that is needed is for them to recognize that the thoughts, feelings and context of the persons’ life are important. Often they are extremely dismissive and yet the results they get are not very good and they can’t answer the fundamental question ‘what causes my disease.’
How we know what we know
|
The moment we suffer the conflict, the shock strikes a specific area in the brain causing a lesion that is clearly visible on a brain scan as a set of sharp target rings (see picture above). With the impact the affected brain cells send a biochemical signal to the cells in the corresponding organ causing either the growth of a tumor, a meltdown of tissue or functional loss, depending on which brain layer received the conflict shock. Siemens the manufacturers of the technology confirmed that the concentric rings were not artifacts as some radiologists insisted they were but were indications of a biological conflict. Dr. Hamer: After I presented a lecture in Vienna in May 1991, a doctor gave me a brain computer tomogram (CT) of a patient. In the presence of 20 of his colleagues, among them radiologists and computer tomography experts, he asked me to tell him what symptoms the patient had and which type of conflicts where related to them. I was asked to conclude from the brain level the condition of the other two levels. I diagnosed from the brain CT a freshly bleeding bladder carcinoma in the healing phase, an old prostate carcinoma, a diabetic condition, an old bronchial carcinoma, and a sensory paralysis of a certain area in the body – and for each of these, the corresponding conflicts that the patient must have experienced. At this point the doctor stood up in front of all his colleagues and said, “Dr. Hamer, congratulations! Five specific claims – five successes! The patient had exactly what you say. And you were even able to differentiate what symptoms he had in the past and which symptom he has now.” (Interview Dr. Hamer) Stanislav Grof (1931- ) Born in Prague. He had an M.D. degree from the Charles University School of medicine and a Ph.D from the Czechoslovakian Academy of Sciences. He is founder of the International Transpersonal Association and is accredited for his contributions to and the development of transpersonal psychology. He has published over 140 articles in professional journals and written several books. His work was based on the observations of 1000’s of case studies (clinical research). He distinguishes between two modes of consciousness: the hylotropic and the holotropic: The hylotropic refers to “the normal, everyday experience of consensus reality.” The holotropic refers to states which aim towards wholeness and the totality of existence. The holotropic is characteristic of non-ordinary states of consciousness such as meditative, mystical, or psychedelic experiences. According to Grof, these non-ordinary states are often categorized by contemporary psychiatry as psychotic. The hylotropic relates to the separate, individual, illusory self. He connects the holotropic to the Hindu conception of Atman-Brahman, the divine, true nature of the self. Ancestral, racial, collective, karmic memories, experiential identification with animals, plants, and inorganic materials and processes, and other types of transpersonal experiences meet the criteria for “anomalous phenomena.” Their existence and nature violates some of the most basic assumptions of materialistic science. They imply such seemingly absurd notions as relativity and arbitrary nature of all physical boundaries, non-local connections in the universe, communication through unknown means and channels, memory without a material substrate, non-linearity of time, or consciousness associated with all living organisms, and even inorganic matter.
Many transpersonal experiences involve events from the microcosm and the macrocosm, realms that cannot normally be reached by unaided human senses, or from historical periods that precede the origin of the solar system, formation of planet earth, appearance of living organisms, development of the nervous system, and emergence of homo sapiens.
Holotropic – To Go Towards Wholeness It has long been known that breathing techniques have huge therapeutic potential. There are the lineages in Tibet / India which have used and refined certain techniques to wake up the consciousness and purify the energy body. It is with time honoured tradition that one can have confidence in this modality. The Breath – allows systemic purification Stanislav Grof was working with patients in a Czech mental asylum and he noticed that those who had the greatest transformations had started to spontaneously breath in a certain way prior to the change. He started experimenting with this technique and found it consistently had dramatic results. The principle is that the common denominator for psyche and soma is energy. Emotion means to move out (E = out / motion = to move) Emotion is psychic energy. Breathing has long been recognised to release suppressed emotions. Energy is never destroyed only transformed. The breath allows the release of unconsciously stored tension. (COEX Systems) Stanislav Grof identified what he called COEX Systems within the human psyche (Systems of condensed experience). This is defined as a specific constellation of memories consisting of condensed experiences (and related fantasies) from different life periods of the individual. The memories from a particular COEX system have a similar basic theme or have similar elements and are associated with a strong emotional charge. There is a layering – the deepest are in infancy and the more superficial aspects occur later in life. A system might be all memories of past exposure to humiliation that have damaged self esteem. Equally one has positive COEX systems. The point being is that the layering leads to an emotional charge which seems out of all proportion to the memory being activated, but this is due to the fact that the reservoir is deeper than appearances would dictate. These COEX systems function relatively autonomously. The interaction with the environment influence subjectively the individuals perception of himself/herself, ideas of the world, the feelings and ideation – even somatic processes. The most important part of the COEX system is the core experience which acts as a template for the recording of subsequent similar experiences in the memory banks. Why some experience’s are so traumatic to some individuals and effect their development for decades is not easy to explain. Psychoanalysts considered unknown hereditary and constitutional factors. Consciousness Knows no Time and Space Grof noticed that some of these factors were ancestral, racial, phylogenetic, archetypal or even past incarnation. Another was the similarity of the trauma to aspects of the birth trauma and hence an unearthing of deeply buried unconscious memories. One of the most important factors is the emotional atmosphere in the family setting and relationships between its members. Dysfunctional families exacerbate these traumas. Suffice to say these COEX systems influence the individual’s behaviour and attitude to life. Grofs most valuable contribution was the recognition of the importance of in-utero and transpersonal influences on the emotional development of a human being. Through the breath-work one taps into the inherent intelligence of your being. This self organising unconscious intelligence orchestrates the order in which the negative emotional charges (armouring) are removed. Armoring – Repression of Instinctual Psychic Sexual Energy Armoring therefore is the way IN WHICH PSYCHOLOGICAL AND PHYSIOLOGICAL DAMAGE IS ANCHORED AND THROUGH WHICH THE EFFECT OF A PERSONS TRAUMATISING PAST CONTINUES TO AFFECT THEM If a person has had a lot of frustration in infancy they will have repressed the feelings to help them cope. As communicated earlier the psyche is energy so this energy becomes locked up with the repression. Imagine a balloon which has too much air in it, the tension becomes unbearable and it could pop. The repression of the feelings leads to tension, energy is sequestered from the main system so there is a depletion of the orgone (life force). This process starts to inhibit the respiratory diaphragm leading to sub clinical hypoxia which ultimately leads to a systemic weakness in the body. Over time the tissues become anorgonic – have a depleted energetic charge as well as oxygen deficiency. This repression also partially shapes the character. The more tension there is the more rigid the character. You could say there is excessive emotional tone – the ‘spastic I.’ The capacity to cope is impaired. The system is full any more pressure won’t be tolerated at all. So inner conflict is the way we have internalized an experience and sequestered the energy we weren’t able to discharge at the time of the experience. Naturally there are many variables when considering the psyche. Essentially it’s about the thoughts and feelings. Beliefs are central and also the intensity that we identify with these ideas. They manifest in the behavior and they can seem quiescent but can activate with an appropriate stimulus. The Processes Used Meta – Medicine – a scientific framework which allows us to have accurate understanding. |
How we work.
The 1st session is Discovery. Then we identify a core problem and specify what this is (modelling). The second / third session integration is done. If you continue the process after this then we identify what you want, begin to get an understanding of the context of your life. This process is done in conjunction of a cyberkinetic health scan
If the energy system is weak then sound therapy might be used to strengthen the organs like the heart and lungs. It’s like charging a battery.
The 3 C’s – Consistency / Commitment / Closure.
Having people wonder in one day and then two months later may work for them but not us as facilitators, hence a framework. We have passion for what we do and our learning comes through working in consistent cycles. The psyche is complex & if people expect a quick fix then they should definitely seek another therapeutic modality out.
Why we do what we do?
Meta-medicine shows that consciousness is primary hence the focus on the thoughts and feelings. The psycho energetic structure sometimes finds itself in a knot with tension being the result. Spiritual development & personal growth are what’s needed when health deteriorates. Stagnation is the hallmark of disease and that is why the tools chosen work bio-energetically as a purely cognitive approach would be missing a vital dimension – bio-energy!
Modelling – Making Explicit the Mental Maps of the World we Live in
We all create models from our sensory experience to make sense of the world, just sometimes the map is not very useful. Modelling gives us a set of distinctions which help us remodel our maps so that there is flexibility and variety in how we respond and the way it works is getting the client problem. It allows us to look at structure and process as well as content. We use the modelling methodology as it allows greater accuracy and precision in our elicitation and therefore the potential for more elegant interventions. Modelling also encourages flexibility and curiosity for both people.
Cyberkinetics allows the rapid elicitation of vital information and adds another dimension to the enquiry which results in qualitative improvement. In fact it has allowed refinements to Meta Medicine & confirms our spiritual nature. Hamer stayed away from meta-physical concepts as he desperately wanted the world to except his findings. Cyberkinetics represents a breakthrough for Meta-medicine as it allows one to gather information in a non-linear (identifies aspects to a problem that the conscious mind has no way of knowing) way which is more representative of life.
Who we work with – People who value health and personal development.
This is a joint problem solving process
When modelling (constructing a representation of the problem). You are proactively engaged in this process as it is your experience. Once we have modelled the core issue we begin a questioning process to discover and elicit the hierarchy of frames which exist in the back of the consciousness and which drive and govern the presenting problem. This can be quite time consuming. Then a therapeutic process is done to collapse the presenting problem.
Einstein proved all matter is energy
Wilhem Reich scientifically proved that the psyche is embedded within an energy matrix (he called orgone energy). Stasis of energy contributes to disease and EFT helps restore dynamism to the energy system (remove the charge from memories) the effect of which is to accelerate change work. When you do something be it a thought or an action a part of the brain lights up. Repetition deepens the groove so that eventually the reaction in the behaviour will be automatic with the associated stimulus.
The Human Energy Field
For millennia the ancient healing traditions talked of an energy body. Finally an acupuncturist Peter Fraser was able to elucidate the structure of the human energy field using quantum physics and maths. Scientists have known that the body contains all different kinds of energy i.e. heart for example produces electromagnetic energy.
What is the body field?
The human body field is an intelligent, self organising, self correcting, self maintaining energetic and informational structure that functions at the level of quantum electrodynamics (QED) and quantum holography. QED mathematically describes all phenomena involving electrically charged particles interacting by means of exchange of photons. The biochemical cellular activity gives rise to in part the body-field, which in turn directs and organises the information that drives your biochemistry. The analogy Peter uses is of an opera ticket. The ticket is meaningless without the print out on it and likewise the information needs a substrate to be transmitted.
The Intricacy and Intelligence of Life is Amazing!
The body has to know what to do, when to do, and where the activity should take place, it has to carry out millions of actions with breathtaking accuracy in milliseconds. The biochemistry and bioenergetics mutually contribute to homeostasis. The body field is dynamic and a holographical structure that records everything to which you are exposed
Overview of Structure of Human Body Field
Drivers – these fields are the powerhouses of the body field. Each organ produces one of these – it is like the battery. The weakening of this field can compromise an organ
Integrators – there are 12 of these and these direct and regulate information transfer in the body-field. Each one covers a certain range of electromagnetic energy (frequency). Essentially they provide the information to allow cells to work properly
Stars – mini-information networks in which multiple information channels converge to address a single issue. They represent specific metabolic pathways or multiple influences that converge on one major function or mechanism. These essentially relate to major energy blockages.
Terrains – these refer to distortions in the body field that creates an environment in a body tissue that makes the tissue amenable to hosting microbes. Different terrains matched to differing micro-organisms.
The 5 Levels of Healing
THE 5 SUBTLE BODIES
A Dr Klinghardt developed a healing model which reflected the subtle aspects of our being. The ancients knew of these aspects of our being. Thousands of years ago the Hindus identified chakras, the Tibetans the meridians and only recently are modern researchers verifying these discoveries.
We exist in different dimensions – simultaneously. The physical body exists within a sphere of invisible etheric bodies that each have their own anatomy and physiology. Every ancient culture knows this system and has described it in different terms. There is an alive and profound interaction between the different levels.
Subtle matter is used as a general term to refer to types of matter associated with our unseen, higher energetic counterparts. In physics it is generally acknowledged that energy of different frequencies can coexist within the same space without destructive interaction.
The evidence emerging is starting to indicate that there exists a holographic energy template associated with the body. Each of the body’s are spatially superimposed over the physical body
The body does not generate these fields rather the field generates the physical matter. These higher energetic vehicles exist outside of the conventional space/time orientation. The causal and higher spiritual levels have permanence whereas the lower energetic vehicles are transitory learning devices.
The degree of spiritual coherence and ordered patterning generated within the higher energetic systems is reflected in the character of the cellular makeup and personality traits of the physical/mental/emotional vehicles chosen for each incarnation. Growth and development of the physical body is not only affected by the molecular genetic patterns of the parents,’ but also by the vibrational patterns of the incarnating soul. Patterns from the causal level are subtly imprinted upon the lower vehicles and influence cellular expression.
Physical Body
First there is the physical body with the five senses. This is the lowest and densest level. The biochemical and genetic models work with this. Naturally we inhabit a body and good care is to be taken. The most potent modality for treating the body is ozone, essentially flooding the body with oxygen.
Etheric Body
The etheric body is like a map which carries information guiding cellular growth. It carries spatial info on how the fetus unfolds inutero and structural data for growth and repair of the adult organism. It is responsible for re-growth of limbs in salamanders. If the etheric field becomes distorted then disease follows.
The meridian network is what carries information and nutritive chi into the body. A professor Kim Bong did experiments proving the existence of this ductal system (meridian network). When fluid was extracted from these ducts it contained high concentrations of DNA, RNA, amino acids, adrenaline, corticosteroids, estrogen and nucleotides.
The presence of hormones would suggest a strong association between the meridians and the glands. There was also a strong link with cell nuclei. He also found that these ducts appeared in the embryo before even the most rudimentary organic systems suggesting a regulatory function. It imparts vital bio-energetic information. Quite simply the physical form cannot exist without the energizing nourishment and spatial guidance provided by the etheric body.
Astral Body
Astral matter is a subtle substance of an even higher frequency than etheric matter. It is only visible to clairvoyants. The esoteric literature claims that this body also has 7 chakras. This energy is stepped down and passed onto the etheric chakras whereby through the meridians becomes translated into glandular and nervous function. This is where a persons’ emotional state can cause disharmony in the body. Astral matter is very magnetic (nonferrous magnetism). Researchers will one day discover that thoughts and feelings have a magnetic quality.
The difficulty in treating many emotional illnesses stems in part from the fact that the emotions which cause problems are magnetically responsive to a kind of astral matter which glues itself to our feelings and more of its own so it can be very difficult to get rid of the bad astral matter and therefore the emotional problem. The right type of magnetism applied could help dispel the negative thought forms. The astral body is a containment vehicle for the personality beyond the transition of personal death
Mental & Causal Bodies
The astral is sometimes the vehicle of expression of human emotional aspects, so the mental is the vehicle through which the self manifests and expresses the concrete intellect. The mental body occupies the next octave of frequencies on the energetic scale. This body has chakras and again there is a cascade effect down the scale affecting the body.
There are energetic forms of subtle substance which are known as thought forms. On the astral level they are emotional types of thought. On the mental level, these thought forms represent purely mental ideas that an individual has been working on.
If this body is functioning properly then they can think clearly and focus their energies. This body feeds energy into the body’s below so healing here has a more profound effect. This body creates and transmits thoughts to be manifest on the physical plane.
The Causal body is responsible for abstract ideas and concepts. It is known as the higher self. On this plane, emotions, concepts and ideas are no longer dealt with but the underlying essence of the thing. It is that part which recognizes the energy/spirit imbuing everything.
The causal body is the repository of the sum total of lifetime experiences gained through successive incarnations. The Higher Self, as expressed through the causal body, is the gestalt consciousness of all that the soul has learned and experienced throughout its many lifetimes upon the physical plane.
Causal consciousness deals with the essence of a subject while the mental level studies the subjects’ details. There are believed to be even higher vehicles of a spiritual nature.
The Purpose for This Understanding?
The vertical healing system can be a valuable foundation for understanding truly what holistic medicine is and gives the practitioner a road map that makes it easier to navigate the sometimes chaotic landscape of healing techniques. Each level has its own order and its own laws that need to be understood. The lower 3 levels belong to the personal realm, the 4th and the 5th level to the transpersonal realm. Each higher level has an organizing influence on the lower levels. The lower levels supply energy to the higher levels and create boundaries for the individual to exist in There is a funnel effect whereby the higher levels funnel energy to the lower levels and therefore healing a person at the mental level is stronger and produces longer lasting effects than the healing at the astral or etheric
Key Points
– Dysfunction in the astral body caused by emotional imbalances can impair the flow of energy through the chakras resulting in glandular imbalance.
– Einstein’s equations predicts faster than light energy referred to by a Dr. Tiller magneto-electrical energy which displays the unique properties of negative entropy and a magnetic nature.
– The experiences of all lifetimes are stored at the level of the causal body, referred to as the higher self.
– Viewed from the subtle energetic level, consciousness is a form of energy which continually evolves to higher levels of complexity and understanding
Attributes of the Subtle Bodies
The physical and vital sheaths operate together, forming the densest of our dimensions, the biological body. The erotic phenomena of sheer sensation, physical-emotional warmth, the various orgasmic reflexes, and hormonal rhythms are based primarily in these two interacting bodies.
The mental-emotional body holds the cognitive intelligence by which we identify and attribute a socially agreed-upon meaning to the events and sensations that occur in the two preceding bodies. Here is where fantasies, desires, joys, jealousies, angers, hopes, and sorrows reside to be shared with those whom we trust.
The reflective-intellectual sheath takes the erotic sentiments and meanings of the mental body one step further. Here we grasp the value of the other and his or her emotions and thoughts, as well as our own. Thus, the reflective-intellectual sheath provides the even longer-lasting erotic pleasures and intimacies of loving admiration, the feelings of sincerity and respect, gratitude, apology, and forgiveness. This is the domain of human character, or integrity.
Causal or bliss body, the most intimate abode of the individual soul. We have penetrated mundane concerns and changing ways; now we glimpse beyond body, emotion, and character into the eternal glow of the Self, the unconditional love.
THE BRAIN
In recent years a lot of research has gone into studying the brain. Different brainwave frequencies have been shown to correspond to different “states of mind”. Brainwave frequency seems to correspond to a spectrum of subjective experience.
Slow brainwaves feel more relaxing and introspective. Fast brainwaves can be a sign of concentration or stress.
Although brainwave frequencies exist across a wide range, we generally classify them into 5 groups (from slow to fast): delta, theta, alpha, beta, and gamma.
The x-axis is time. The y-axis is a measure of brain activity. The peaks correspond to a high number of neurons firing in the brain. The troughs correspond to fewer neurons firing
Delta Brainwaves
Delta brainwaves have a frequency of about 4 pulses or less per second, as if the brain is breathing slowly and heavily. The brain generally only enters the delta state during the deepest stages of sleep, appropriately known as “slow-wave sleep”.
Theta brainwaves
Theta brainwaves are associated with dreaming and REM-stage sleep and sometimes light sleep. This is where brain activity pulses anywhere from 4 to 7 times per second. But theta also occurs several times throughout the day. If you’ve ever gotten into the “flow” while jogging, that’s theta. Deep meditation is another example. Theta can be used for creative flow states, where ideas seem to come effortlessly. Theta is also exploited in hypnosis as well as several accelerated learning programs.
Alpha Brainwave
Alpha brainwaves have a frequency of 7 to 13 pulses per second. The alpha wave state is a sign of deep relaxation while awake. Like theta, it can be used in hypnosis and accelerated learning. Simply by closing your eyes, your brain starts to generate more alpha brain waves.
Beta Brainwaves
Beta brainwaves have a frequency of 13 to 40 pulses per second. The beta wave state is considered the most normal state of mind. If you’ve ever felt a lack of energy you couldn’t quite control, it may be due to insufficient beta activity. Although the beta state is considered “normal”, it’s fundamentally important for everyday mental focus and energy levels. Depression and insomnia have been linked to insufficient beta states.
Gamma Brainwaves
Gamma brainwaves have a frequency of over 40 pulses per second. It’s a rarer state of mind, and occurs during problem solving or even fear. It’s associated with enhanced perception and a high level of consciousness. Obtaining a stress-free gamma state is perhaps one of the greatest feelings imaginable. It’s a state of crystal-clear mental lucidity.
Although delta waves usually correspond to the unconscious state of deep sleep, highly experienced mediators have been shown to attain conscious awareness during the delta state.
Delta frequencies have been shown to increase production of the hormones DHEA and melatonin. DHEA is a precursor to testosterone, perhaps your body’s most potent energizer hormone (for both men and women). This is one of the many reasons why high quality deep sleep increases feelings of natural energy and vitality during the day.
Your brain naturally cycles through the brainwave states during the day. Every 90 minutes or so, your brain will require a break and slow down its activity, possibly entering alpha or even theta states. This cycle is known as the ultradian rhythm, or basic rest and activity cycle (BRAC). Alpha and theta states help reset sodium/potassium balance in the brain — without proper sodium/potassium balance, neurons can’t fire.
The brain is the great mediator. It is a highly sophisticated processor responding to all types of stimuli. Neuro-scientists have discovered that it has a lot of flexibility so even though certain neural pathways are embedded through repetitive behavior, new neural nets can easily be formed with the concomitant shifts in old patterns.
The Heart
The heart creates complex sound waves and is intimately linked to the lungs and nervous system. The intricate sound waves, the impulses from the nervous system and the energy created from oxygen interchange in the lungs creates the major template of the body field.
It is said that the heart registers an experience before the brain. It is linked with visual and auditory acuity. We feel with our heart and think with our brain. Confidence, identity, clarity and mental integration are associated with a strong heart whereas self esteem drops when the heart is blocked which in turn affects our decision making processes.
We say someone has an open heart or a closed heart. The closed heart is because of the resonant frequency of unprocessed emotion due to heartbreak in the life experience. From divorce to bereavement the heart centre walls itself off from the pain for protection but through doing this prevents the really positive aspects of life like a loving relationship being able to manifest. Opening the heart is an intrinsic part of the Opening Channels program
Conflicts and what Happens Therapeutically?
The core of a conflict is a set of neuro-linguistic parts. When any experience occurs in our life, new neural networks are laid down to record that event and its meaning. To create these networks, the neurons grow an array of new dendrites (connections to other neurons). Each neuron has up to 20,000 dendrites, connecting it simultaneously into perhaps hundreds of different neural networks.
At times, the neural networks laid down in one experience or set of experiences can be quite “cut off” (due to their different neuro-chemical basis) from the rest of the person’s brain. This ‘parts’ operate autonomously with a type of thinking & behavior. The whole ‘part’ is driven by beliefs.
What are Beliefs?
- Beliefs are an idea with a big yes behind them.
- Often they are generalisations based on certain experiences we are referencing
- These judgments about ourselves and others determine our motivation / actions
- Beliefs have an impact on our attitude, perceptions, feelings & behaviour
- Clients are often not aware of their beliefs.
- Often certain internal dialogue is the clue to our beliefs.
Wars are fought over beliefs, people perform certain rituals (praying) based on their beliefs. When beliefs are challenged the physiology can become very activated. Think of when you argue over an opinion. Emotion is often an indication that our expectation of the world does not fit with reality. This is driven by unconsciously held beliefs.
What doesn’t Happen is as Important as What Does!
As a child we will respond to stimuli (or lack of – emotionally absent parent) and make limiting decisions about the self. This won’t be noticed and there certainly won’t be much stress associated with this. The result is that we then begin to compensate and adapt to the world based on these ideas. This is only natural. Over time as we experience new frustrations in our development the tension starts to build. If the conflicts are of a similar theme to previous ones the previous learning starts to lock itself in and become more obvious in the behavior.
The psyche is good at distributing the energy / tension of these conflicts but eventually depending on the life experience certain thresholds can be breached and that is when symptoms appear. This is Nature’s way of saying that you must pay close attention. To what though? This is where Meta-Medicine helps as we can track back from the symptom and identify the conflict theme, one level of abstraction can help identify the pattern. One can also look at making changes to the environment and many Meta-Medicine Dr’s do this very successfully with serious illness. It often doesn’t work and still does not bring clarity to what is happening internally. You have an emotion (field with information) instructing the biology.
A conflict is an opposition of tendencies. It is not a dilemma. Some parts operate simultaneously and a person feels torn. Love / Hate is a good example of this. Other times these parts operate sequentially i.e. one wants to do something and loves the idea of it but the next day the other part wants to do the opposite. When something happens that you can’t cope with and threatens development and your survival Mother Nature switches on these special programs which are essentially archaic survival responses to help a person adapt to the change. The psyche splits to distribute the energetic impact and a new behavior manifests which is trying to help the person find a solution and cope with the situation.
We are looking for the aspects of BEING which form the identity as this platform in the psyche will have many associated adaptations and compensations stacked up on it and therefore change here has a huge cascading effect leading to a more dynamic equilibrium and a change in the behaviour (thoughts / feelings). Many splits in the psyche will only exist due to this more fundamental programming. We use a process to integrate these conflicts. We are attempting to shut off the signal which is a thought in the subconscious mind.
How Integration Works
The process of integration works with the mental emotional body & engages the reflective capacity of the mind.(3rd / 4th subtle bodies). The emotion (energy) which wasn’t processed at the time the conflict happened is & any limiting beliefs reframed. The integration process slowly drives the mind into an alpha / theta state where it is impressionable. In this state the core limiting belief is (dissolved) & the part is reminded of its true nature. The conscious mind thinks, the subconscious responds. The psychoanalysts were aware that there was a concentration of emotion (energy / affect) around an idea & that is what makes the idea active, i.e. it informs / directs the functioning of the person. They didn’t have an effective way to discharge this affect. Now there is a way. Essentially neural nets are dissolved, emotion cleared, beliefs reframed, new awareness gained the end result being an integration of a split in the psyche
Summary of Effects of Work
- Gain a deeper understanding of your chronic health condition. You in the driving seat.
- Use of sound to fortify body systems
- Get the client proactively involved in their own problem solving
- Identify patterns limiting & affecting the quality of your life.
- Letting go of past hurts (strong negative emotion)
- Integration work to bring inner peace from negative inner chatter
What is unique?
The synthesis of the above mentioned processes. The kinesiology allows a very in depth enquiry to be developed and shifts the dynamic in the relationship so that it is not the facilitator dictating but rather the client leading.
FAQ
Q.) Are you saying you can cure disease?
A.) We never promise or say that. People all over the world do go into remission without any intervention. We now know why. People heal themselves. We facilitate that.
Q.) Why do I have to commit to a program. Isn’t that you just trying to make money?
a.) You don’t until you have experienced the process & only then will you make a decision. You can’t possibly make a decision without having had an experience.
b.) People have often had issues for many years and these patterns in some cases are very entrenched. Dr’s mitigate but don’t solve these problems and yet the medical industry has billions of research funds behind them. They often put people on drugs for the rest of their lives.
c.) We only want to work with people who are committed to personal development and value health. The reality is that we don’t wave magic wands. These problems take time and effort to open up and unpack.
Q.) If this is a cutting edge discovery which answers all these questions. Why is it not more widely known? My Dr has not heard of it.
A.) Sadly it was never publicised when it was discovered. The University of Tubingen where the thesis was submitted refused to even look at the interconnections between the psyche and cancer (all chronic illness). In 1986 a court sentenced the university to examine the findings which they still wouldn’t do even when the judge ordered it! On the one hand you have many professors who have made their name on certain ideas / theories. They get extremely upset when they reflect on having their precious beliefs undermined and proven to be wrong. Big Pharma would lose 100’s of billions of dollars also. History is littered with examples like Galileo where years had to pass before the new paradigm was excepted.
Think of it this way. If a person looked round in the street and their kid ran in front of the car, what would they think and feel? Would they sleep well, would you want to eat. Basically could the worry and guilt make you ill?
Q.) There are so many different therapies why should I choose you.
A.) Meta-Medicine is a science not just another useful model. Therefore it ensures that you are on the right track when searching for a solution as we accurately define and specify the problem
Also at Meta-Medicine UK we use a bespoke methodology. The enquiry is very robust & the integration process gets results. We have identified the thought as primary over the ‘feeling & picture / matter & energy. They are all inter-related though.
Q.) Each session is two hours and costs £150. This seems rather expensive
A.) Obviously this is dependent on certain variables such as your income & what you value. As we age the consciousness fragments. The strain on the psycho-energetic system accumulates, we lose the flow & spontaneity we had as children & are stuck with negative compulsive thought / feeling states. When this is reversed the quality of life improves permanently.

Examples of Some Conflict Themes & Their Corresponding Organ
The organs and tissues of the alimentary canal – from the mouth to the rectum – are biologically linked to “MORSEL-CONFLICTS” (alluding to the real food morsel). The “inability’ of getting a hold of a morsel” correlates to the mouth and pharynx (including the palate, tonsils, salivary glands, naso-pharynx, and thyroid gland); the “conflict of not being able to swallow a morsel” relates to the esophagus (lower part); conflicts of “not being able to absorb or digest a morsel” are linked to the digestive organs, such as the stomach (except the small curvature), the small intestines, the colon, the rectum as well as the liver and the pancreas.
Animals experience these “morsel-conflicts” in real terms, for example, when they cannot find food or when a food chunk or bone is stuck in the intestine. Since we humans are able to interact with the world in a figurative fashion through language and symbols, we can experience such “morsel conflicts” also in a transposed sense. A figurative morsel can translate into a contract or a person we could not “catch”, an offending remark we could not “digest”, “morsels” we want to possess,”morsels” that were taken away from us, or “morsels” we cannot get rid of.
The lungs, more precisely the lung alveoli that process oxygen, are linked to a “death-fright conflict“, triggered by a life-threatening situation. The goblet cells in the bronchia correlate to a “fear of suffocation”.
The middle ear relates to hearing conflicts (the “soundmorsel”). The conflict of “not being able to catch a sound morsel”, for example not hearing Mommy’s voice, affects the right ear, whereas the conflict of “not being able to get rid of a sound morsel”, for instant loud annoying noise, affects the left ear. An intense conflict-activity results in a middle ear “infection” during the healing phase.
The kidney collecting tubules, which are the oldest tissues of the kidneys, correspond to biological conflicts that relate back to the time when our distant ancestors were still living in the ocean and being thrown on shore would pose a life-threatening situation. We humans can suffer such a “fish-out-of-water”-DHS as an “abandonment conflict” (feeling isolated, excluded, left behind), as a “refugee conflict” (having to flee our home), as an “existence conflict” (our life or livelihood is at stake), or as a “hospitalization conflict“.
The uterus and fallopian tubes as well as the prostate gland, are linked to “procreation conflicts” and “ugly conflicts with the opposite gender“. Benign prostatic hyperplasia (BPH) – not being man enough i.e. his wife starts showing an interest in younger men.
“Through the millennia, humanity has more or less consciously known that all diseases ultimately have a psychic origin. This understanding became a ‘scientific’ asset, firmly anchored in the inheritance of universal knowledge. It is only ‘Modern Medicine’ that has turned our animated beings into a bag full of chemical formulas.” Dr Hamer
